We believe in the importance of the Gospel going forth in all the earth, especially Europe. We are eager to support the Europeans as they work to increase the body of believers. While we live in Germany, our ministry spans greater Europe. We work with churches and missionaries in order to provide outreach opportunities with technology and English language instruction. Our desire is to see a witnessing fellowship within reach of everyone in Europe. One way this can be accomplished is by helping local churches grow in such a way that they are able to plant a new church in a neighboring village. We work together with a strong team of missionaries in Kandern, Germany which is essential to maximize
our effectiveness in this endeavor.
Thadd is working with churches across Europe who are using English as
a Foreign Language programs as outreach opportunities to reach many
populations in their communities. As a member of the TEFL resources
team, Thadd is developing, adapting, and implementing curriculum to
meet the learning needs of youth, immigrant populations, second career
adults, and college students who desire to improve their
conversational English. These programs are then taught in 1-2 week
long workshops used to introduce unreached members of a community to
the Church in an educational setting using credible and strategically
crafted curriculum. Through TEFL, Thadd will be meeting a need and
building relationships which in turn leads to opportunities to share
Christ.
Laura's chief responsbility is to provide an artist eye for the many projects with the eDOT team (Electronic Discipleship, Outreach, and Training). Specifically, she is working on the online training engine that allows pastors all over Europe to receive a seminary education ensuring it is easy to use and functions properly. She also is the eDOT team web developer who builds websites whenever churches or ministries located throughout Europe require a website to increase their witness for Christ. She also hopes to be involved in eDOT's eLearning center ministry where she would help lead a short term group of people from the USA to churches in Europe. These teams set up a computer lab that is used as an outreach for the church to reach their community and show people that the church is relevant to their life.
Together we want to develop relationships with our German neighbors and be part of a German church. We desire to become fluent in German so that we might be able to share the Gospel with others in their "heart language". We are excited to be as German as we can be and hope to join community groups such as choirs, orchestras, and sports leagues.
